I really like that book but I am looking for an extra source providing more insight and (if possible) more explicit examples and exercises (kind of Greiner's style in his book on Quantum Mechanics and symmetries). I've been looking for books and I've found two that look interesting. Gauge Theory of Weak Interactions by Greiner and Müller. The book begins with a review of classical physics and quantum mechanics, then proceeds through the construction of free quantum fields to the perturbation-theoretic development of interacting field theory and renormalization theory, with emphasis on quantum electrodynamics.
